Life Poortview Clinic

Life Poortview Clinic is a dedicated private mental healthcare facility in Poortview, Roodepoort. The clinic specialises in treating teenagers and adults with psychiatric disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety, burnout, psychosis), and substance dependence. 

The facility admits voluntary, involuntary, and assisted patients.

Patients are admitted into treatment programs, including Adolescents, Wellness, Dual Diagnosis and Functional/Assisted program. Each program is treated by a multi-disciplinary team and includes specific occupational therapy group interventions relevant to the needs, level of function and collective and individual aims of the patients. Ultimately the focus of occupational therapy interventions is on helping people regain optimal function to take back control of their lives. Inpatients can expect to learn practical and healthy coping mechanisms, communication and other life skills and become more self-aware, which all contribute to healthier reintegration in their families, communities, and workplaces.

Admissions are facilitated through the Psychiatrist.
