Are you struggling with emotional regulation that impacts your ability to live a fulfilling life? Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) was developed specifically for individuals who experience difficulties managing their emotions, often leading to behaviours that disrupt their well-being.

Who should attend?

Persons with emotion dysregulation and who wants to master their emotions at work and home, when stressed and at ease.

What is DBT Skills Training?

Our DBT Skills Training group is facilitated by a qualified therapist. Participants learn essential skills and practice them between sessions to integrate these tools into their daily lives. These practical skills aim to replace unhealthy coping mechanisms with more effective and positive behaviours.

The four core skills you will learn:

- Mindfulness
Practice being present in the moment, acknowledging your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours without attempting to control or judge them.

- Distress Tolerance
Develop strategies to cope during crises and accept situations as they are, especially when change isnā€™t possible. Learn how to face distress without becoming overwhelmed.

- Interpersonal Effectiveness
Build the confidence to ask for what you need, set boundaries, and say no when necessaryā€”while maintaining self-respect and healthy relationships with others.

- Emotion Regulation
Gain the ability to manage your emotions so they donā€™t control your actions, thoughts, or decisions. Learn how to keep emotions in balance.
